Who will be our main contact for the supply of locums?

You will be allocated a dedicated consultant from the start to the finish of the booking. All our consultants are supplied with a work mobile phone, so you can contact them directly if you have any questions or are need of further locums, our consultants are more than happy to help.

What is your procedure when notifying you of bookings?

Firstly, you can call our dedicated team of recruitment consultants to provide them with your needs and you should be prepared to answer the following questions:

  1. What is the duration of the post?
  2. When would you like the candidates to start?
  3. What are your office hours?
  4. Who will the locum report to?
  5. What is the full of address of the placement and how do you get there?
  6. What is the environment they will be working in like?
  7. What will the main duties be?
  8. What will their caseload be?

We aim to ensure we have the right person for the post requested. Our consultants will get back to you once a suitable placement is found. Alternatively, you can submit the job online here or email the job spec to jobs@jobjar.co.uk.

What are your timescales from requesting a locum until a locum is supplied

Once you have notified us of your recruitment need we will endeavour to provide you with an answer within 2 hours of your telephone call or online enquiry. A locum should be ready to start work within 1 week or immediately where applicable.

How much relevant experience will they have?

Depending on your requirement, our locums are required to have ideally a minimum of 1 years work experience.

How many finalists will be presented to the employer?

Most clients prefer a selection of three or four qualified candidates.JobJar Recruitment considers "finalists" those candidates who have gone through an initial face-to-face interview with our client and the client would like to bring him or her back for a second interview or offer him or her the position. We strive to submit the best qualified candidates.

How often are timesheets processed?

Once a week. All timesheets must be signed by a manager and should be faxed no later than Monday 5pm. For more information on the process of timesheets click here.

How much are your fees?

JobJar Recruitment does not charge any fees for temporary staff, in other words, it is free to use our service. For permanant staff we have a fixed fee which is a percentage of the candidate's annual salary. With JobJar you can save far more than you can with any other agency.

What if I am dissatisfied with a locum?

In light of the Client being dissatisfied with a supply worker, we would endeavour to find you a replacement immediately or within a 1 week notice period (subject to availability). We also provide a refund scheme if the candidate should leave for any reason other than redundancy. To find out more read our terms & conditions.

How can I contact you if I have more questions?
